It will be great if you can add a scoopful of your favorite protein powder to it as well to fortify it. Chia seeds are added for a bit of extra fiber into your system.

  • 1 kiwi, skinned and chopped
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/3rd cup crushed ice
  • Honey (if needed)
  • 1 handful chia seeds

Combine the chia seeds with the kiwi and blend at high speed for 1-2 minutes or until very smooth. Add the coconut milk, crushed ice and honey, if needed and blend again for 30 seconds more. Pour into a tall glass, or in two tall glasses, and serve cold, immediately.

You can skip the chia seeds and add a scoopful of protein powder to up the protein quotient, which would also keep you feeling full for a longer period of time. This is an easy shake for those who work out a lot.
