Lychee Banana Shake Recipe



Fresh or frozen, lychees are super tasty and one of the easiest things to cook with. However, in shakes, they excel, because this tart and sweet little fruit which can perk up any recipe.

It is advisable to use fresh lychees, which can be found in the supermarket, either in bunches which needs to be peeled and seeded, or frozen, already peeled. Lychees have a hard inner stone which needs to be taken out before cooking, so it is a good idea to peel the lychee and stone it before adding it to the blender.

Lychees have natural antioxidants in them which make it easy for you to drink it, and banana adds a smooth creaminess, not to mention a much-needed hit of calcium and other vitamins which would make you feel healthier in seconds.

Bananas have a very high percentage of Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, Manganese, and a number of other useful vitamins. Also they are supposed to be great for women who suffer from vitamin deficiency and

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup lychees
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • ½ cup ice

Procedure:

Chop the banana in small pieces. Add the lychees, almond milk, chia seeds in a blender and blend on high speed for 20 seconds. Add the ice and banana and blend for 30 seconds more. Pour into glasses and serve.

This shake is going to be quite healthy and thick, so you can also skip the ice if you want this to be more intense. Adding a handful of spinach or kale will make this even more nutritious, and indeed, it will be a power-packed charge for the morning.
