Refreshing Grape Shake Recipe

Grapes are one of the most underrated fruits you will ever come across. People generally don’t like cooking with it because they consider grapes too much work.

However, purple grapes can be made into a shake that is not just tasty but also refreshing. Containing high amounts of anti-oxidants, they pack a powerful and low calorie charge in the morning.

The key is to blend them in well with the right amount of milk and protein powder.

Although we also love adding flax or chia seeds to our shakes to make them more fibrous, we would suggest you do not process the grapes too much for this shake and allow them to stay slightly pulpy.

The pulp adds to the shake’s depth and flavors perfectly. One Mejdul date is added to add to the depth of flavors which is already incredible. This is also low in calories and high in flavors so try making this at home, especially with fresh purple grapes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grapes, preferably purple seedless grapes
  • 1 teaspoon flax or chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond or cashew nut milk
  • 1 tablespoon protein powder
  • 1 Mejdul date
  • ½ cup crushed ice

Procedure:

Process the grapes and chia seeds together for 30 seconds. Add the almond milk, protein powder, Mejdul date and crushed ice to it, and blend for 30 seconds more.

Remove the lid of the blender and pour the concoction into glasses. Drink immediately as this drink tends to settle in layers when left alone for a long duration. You can also substitute purple grapes with white ones, but make sure they are seedless.
